Writing Your Conclusion

Review class notes about writing a conclusion paragraph .  Start with a conclusion transition, like

Clearly, _______________________________   and restate your thesis.  Use Different Words than your thesis.  Don't go over the same arguments again that you used in your paper.  This is your time to be thoughtful and philosophical.  Write your assessment of Romanticism and its impact still today.  Write what faults you see in it, what future do you see for Romanticism, do you prefer Realism, how is  Romanticism still important or how it will continue to be important, what can we learn from Romanticism, how do we need it or not need it as a culture, or tie it back in with your introduction paragraph somehow.  Don't introduce new reasons why the movie is filled with Romanticism.  Don't ignore the conclusion and just throw something together... take your time to make this paragraph thoughtful and powerful. Gradually move to your "clincher" sentence.  Make every word and/or sentence count.
